学术会议（2021年5月17日15:00-16:30 ）：SO(N) 规范理论的拓扑顶点方法

报告简介：We propose an extended form of the topological vertex formalism that applies to (p,q)-brane web with orientifolds, by analyzing the geometric transition of Kim-Yagi’s prescription. A new topological vertex with only one leg is introduced into the formalism for the intersection of (2,1)-brane and the O-plane, and we assign a vertex operator to this intersection point in our proposal. We show the consistency of this extended formalism and discuss its potential future usage in the study of SO(N) gauge theories etc.
通过研究 Kim-Yagi 方法的“几何转变”，我们提出拓扑顶点方法的一个拓展方案。一个新的只有一条外腿的拓扑顶点被引入到了这个方法中，用于对应 (2,1)-膜与 O-平面的相交。另外，我们给这个交点赋予一个顶点算符。我们阐明了这个拓展方案的自洽性，并讨论它在未来 SO(N) 规范理论中的潜在用途。

报告人简介：朱睿东，苏州大学副教授。2019年毕业于东京大学物理系，随后前往都柏林高等研究院开展博士后研究工作，并于2020年12月入职苏州大学。从事超对称场论、共形场论及相关代数问题的研究工作，包括拓扑顶点方法、Ding-Iohara-Miki 代数、超共形指标等。
