I will introduce the basic notions leading to the idea of a composite Higgs model, focusing on the advantages over the Standard Model Higgs sector. In particular, the role of the underlying dynamics will be reviewed, in light of the input that Lattice studies can give. The latter are crucial in order to understand the role current and future colliders can play in discovering the Higgs compositeness. I will finally discuss the main collider smoking guns: deviations in the Higgs couplings and discovery of new resonances.

Prof. Giacomo Cacciapaglia graduated from Pisa University in Italy, and obtained his PhD from the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa in 2003. After one postodoc at Cornell University and one in the University of California Davis in the USA, he obtained a permanent researcher position at CNRS in France in 2008. He has now a senior researcher position (equivalent to professorship) in Lyon, France. He is an expert in composite Higgs dynamics, extra-dimensional models and collider phenomenology.
